The latest mod in VooPoo’s Argus series is their Argus GT 2 200W Box Mod, an impressively powerful and high-end vaping device that can make all of your cloud-chasing dreams come true like never before. Boasting a high-end aesthetic, the iconic GENE.TT 2.0 Chipset and a generous IP68 rating, it’s got you covered in every sense of the word.
The GT 2 200W is luxury-driven in every way, including its visual design. Its sophisticated appearance includes its matte metallic chassis with an ergonomic side panel for perfect grip, in various finishes including embossed leather. Curved edges fall in all of the right places so that you can hold your device securely and comfortably, without any cramping of your palm. The mod is built from zinc-alloy material, known for being both unbelievably lightweight and resilient to drops and falls. And, it boasts an IP68 rating, meaning it’s resistant to water, dust, shocks, and scratches.
The mod is powered by two 18650 batteries (sold separately). It offers a maximum wattage of 200W, which is more than plenty for serious cloud-chasers. The device is powered by the GENE.TT 2.0 Chipset, the latest in the GENE Chipset series. This gives you maximum reliability and precision while offering a generous selection of output modes, including a comprehensive TC mode, an RBA mode for custom wattage, a cloud-boosting turbo mode, and a smart mode that automatically adjusts the output based on the resistance of the coil installed into the accompanying tank.
A large, bright display screen makes it easy to choose between all of these settings and is paired with a set of dual navigation buttons. The display screen also gives you a comprehensive outlook on your vaping stats, including puff count and battery life. Of course, there are loads of safety features as well, including over-temperature protection, battery reverse protection, cut-off time, short-circuit protection, and more. There’s also a safe-lock switch at the bottom of the chassis which ensures that the device can’t be tampered with in any way, or fired by mistake. A large firing button sits in the center of the device, and it features a type-C charging port for a more convenient and fast way to charge your battery, which really comes in handy when you’re on the road.
The device is typically paired with the VooPoo MAAT Sub-Ohm Tank, although the 510-threaded connection at the top of the device makes it compatible with any sub-ohm tank that’s available on the market.
